My Real Estate Story After graduating from college, I got my real estate license, but I didn’t do anything with it at the time. I went on to work in a few different sales jobs, got married, and eventually became a mom to four kids. Real estate was always somewhere in the back of my mind, though. When my youngest was in middle school, I decided it was time to take another look at real estate and finally take the leap. I’m so glad I did. More than 12 years later, I can honestly say I love what I do. I especially love working in Winter Park and throughout Central Florida. There’s something special about this area, and I understand why so many people choose to call it home. People move to Central Florida for all kinds of reasons, but the lifestyle is definitely one of them. We’re fortunate to be centrally located between Florida’s East and West coasts, making a trip to the beach an easy part of life. And with the beautiful Florida weather, you can enjoy those beaches almost any time of year. Of course, Orlando is known around the world for Walt Disney World, but there is so much more to this community than the theme parks. One of my favorite parts of what I do is introducing people to the local side of Central Florida—the neighborhoods, restaurants, small businesses, parks, events, and all the little places that make this area feel like home. I’ve lived in Central Florida all of my life. After more than a decade in real estate, I’ve had the opportunity to help people not only buy and sell homes, but find their place in a community they can truly enjoy. Real estate may have started as something I put on the back burner, but taking that leap all those years ago turned into a career I genuinely love, and I wouldn’t change a thing.
